is this cardigan from Suss Cousin's book "Hollywood Knits". As the weather is very unpredictable at the moment, I got it out the other day when I was feeling really cold. As far as I can remember I made it last autumn. The yarn is "Flamme" from Junghans Wolle. I like the colour, it gives you a maritime feeling even in deepest winter. However, I had some problems with its structure. It is bulky with some very thin bits in between. And somehow the bulky bits and the thin bits always seemed to be at the same places, no matter how long or how short my rows were. As much as I like the finished object, I don't think I will use such a yarn again as it was, at least for me, a bit of a frustrating experience.
As the Abitur (final high school exams) is just going on, I am drowning in grading papers. Thankfully, I only have to check if my colleague has overseen mistakes, still it is a lot of work. As the weather is very nice today, I think I will do it outside!
