Yesterday night I needed some mindless knitting to take a break from grading papers.
I bought one skein of this yarn because I liked the color and the texture so much (it is Gedifra Colourette) - the colour changes very inobtrusively and each colour has a different structure, yet all of them are "Bändchengarn" (sorry, but I don't know the English expression for that). But what else can you do with 50gr of yarn apart from a scarf? This pattern is from D. Stoller's "Stitch 'n' Bitch Nation" and it is super simple. Two rows dropstitch and two rows garter stitch. It is a rather short scarf admittedly but just crossing it around your neck and then fastening it witch a nice brooch would be a difference to "normal" scarf - wearing, i.e. putting it around your neck a couple of times.
